Find the right book for your instrument
Most tongue drum books are written for drums in C major and work with 8, 11, 13, 14 or 15 tongues. Some books are also available in D major. The kalimba books are for diatonic kalimbas in C major with 17 or 21 keys, and the handpan book is written for 10-tone handpans in D minor.
